Teacher for a Day

Wednesday  09 ,August, 2017 .

‘’Being a teacher for a day.’’

I woke up this morning and got ready for my first day  being a teacher.
I went to a school in Papakura called Redhill Primary School. I went to the class where year 4,5 and 6 students are mixed. When the bell rang , the children all lined up. They went inside, where they started with a morning prayer, the prayer was followed by roll call , and they went to their separate classes. The teacher said that someone new will be teaching  children in here today, after that I introduce myself. I taught the children how to write a story. I taught the children how to sing the magnet song.
After lunch when the bell rang and the children lined up, took off their socks and shoes. They went inside, they did their roll call again then they went into their maths classes.
I was a little worried as this was my first day teaching on my own, I was in charge. I taught the children shapes, fractions and basic facts, how to publish on the chromes and some of them were new. The children learnt, after our work was finished we all played a little game, after our game it was pack up time. They sat on the mat in a row. They did their finishing prayer. They had milk and fruit. The children went to get their shoes and backpack.
They all went home.I went home too.
I said to myself,’’lets have some rest ‘’then I slept .
